Narrative Illustration
When storytelling, I do a mixture of traditional inking and digital coloring. I have found, through exploration, that this method is the best way for me to work in a clear and easily readable manner. I add a lot of patterns within my inking; they have always captivated me to be able to put them in my work brings me great joy. Patterns can move the eye around the piece and its ability to get people trapped within it is what I adore.

When I was young I adored the “I Spy” books. I would sit on my hour-long bus ride and stare at the pages until I could practically memorize where everything was. When I make decorative artwork I don’t want the viewer to run out of things to look for, I want them to get lost within the piece.
